Golden Triangle with Varanasi

Day 01:- Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi Meeting & Assistance at the Airport, Transfer to the booked Hotel. (pls. note: all hotel check in time 1200hrs. noon only.)


Day 02: Delhi - sightseeing

Morning after breakfast full day sight seeing tour of Sahajahanabad, now known as Old Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Musjid - the largest mosque of India, Red Fort, President’s house and the Secretariat buildings, India Gate – The War Memorial, Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple (also known as Bahai Temple). Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03:Delhi – Varanasi Fly.

Morning after breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Varanasi, arrive Varanasi transfer to hotel, rest. This evening witness an Aarti ceremony, a very powerful and uplifting spiritual ritual that uses fire as an offering.

It's made in the form of a small 'diya' with a candle and flowers and a large number of these are floated down the river, a truly magical sight. Later return to your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.


Day 04: Varanasi – Agra by Train.

Early morning enjoy a scenic sunrise boat trip on the holy River Ganges and see Varanasi slowly coming alive along the banks of the river. Observe the locals taking a morning bath in the holy water while worshipping the rising sun, a Cultural Insight. Return to your hotel for breakfast followed by a visit to Sarnath, one of the four holy Buddhist sites sanctioned by the Buddha himself for pilgrimage.
The Archaeological Museum at Sarnath is amongst the most important in India and contains more than 6,800 sculptures and artefacts from the 3rd century B.C. to the 12th century A.D. At the museum, admire the original lion's heads from the Asoka Pillar, which form the symbol of the Indian republic.

Evening transfer to railway station for train to Agra, overnight Journey. .

Day 05: Arrive Agra

Morning arrive Agra railway station , pick up transfer to hotel, Afternoon visit Agra Fort built by Akbar and later extended by Jahangir and Shah Jahan.
Evening visit SUNSET view of the world famous Mausoleum – The Taj Mahal - An unique epitome of Love built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. A Sahajahan”s drop of tear on the cheek of Time that has now crystallized. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06: Agra – Jaipur (245 KMS / 6hrs. )

Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur. Enroute visit the deserted city at Fatehpur Sikri(40 KMS from Agra) built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned it just after 15 years due to the scarcity of water. Visit the graceful buildings

The punch Mahal, Anup Talab,Diwan-e- Khas, Tomb of the holy saint Salim Chisti,Buland Darwaza and other important palaces where one experiences not only the Architectural brilliance but also its perfect fusion. Continue drive to Jaipur. Overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.


Day 07: In Jaipur

Early morning at 0700hrs. visit to Amber Fort, the ancient Capital of the state until 1728. Enjoy the Elephant ride up to the hill on which the Fort is situated. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory, Jaimahal (Look at the beautiful mirror work and intricate inlay work) and the Temple of Goddess Kali.

Later city sightseeing tour visiting Maharaja’s City Palace and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of winds through the rose - pink residential and business areas of Jaipur. Evening free for independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 08: Jaipur – Delhi Departure

Morning after breakfast drive back to Delhi, arrive Delhi straight departure transfer to airport for flight to onward destination. End of Services.
